INGREDIENTS:
Desiccated Coconut Powder, It is a good remedial agent. It contains fibre, iron and healthy fat. Jaggery Powder, Helps boost immunity and prevents constipation. It is also rich in iron content which prevents anaemia, joint pain and detoxifies the body. Black Gram, It is a rich source of proteins, iron and Vitamin B. It is also an energy booster and has anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties.
Split Chickpeas (Chana Dal), It is rich in fibre and low in GI & fat. Helps lower cholesterol levels. Coriander Powder, They have anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, anti-flatulent and anti-diabetic properties. They are also an excellent source of minerals like iron, copper, calcium, potassium, zinc and magnesium. Chilli Powder, Combats inflammation and pain. It reduces cholesterol, cleans congestion and helps improve immunity. It is also an excellent source of Vitamin C and A. Salt, Cumin Powder, Benefits the digestive system and enhances immunity. It is an excellent source of iron for energy and is good for immune function. Fenugreek Powder, Helps in regulating blood sugar and also reduces cholesterol. Curry Leaves Powder, Fights infection, improves hair and skin and helps in gastrointestinal problems. Tamarind Powder, Handles digestion issues, fever, sore throat, rheumatism, inflammation and sunstroke. Turmeric Powder. This has a great therapeutic value and boosting immunity is one of its most significant properties. COOKING DIRECTIONS: Take 500gm dosa rice batter.
Add the Udupi Kitchen Kara Dosa Mix to the batter and mix well. Add salt to taste and dilute batter to dosa consistency.

Optional – Add finely chopped cabbage, onions/spring onions to the batter. You can also dip sliced Eggplant or breadfruit in the batter and place in a circular form on a dosa pan (shape it round) and cook on both sides.

Variations – If you don’t have dosa batter, soak 2 cups idli rice for 3 hours. Grind in a mixer to a smooth paste. No need to ferment, use immediately.
