INGREDIENTS:
Black Gram, It is a rich source of proteins, iron and Vitamin B. It is also an energy booster and has anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties.
Split Chickpeas (Chana Dal), It is rich in fiber and low in GI & fat. Helps lower cholesterol levels. Chilli Powder, Combats inflammation and pain. It reduces cholesterol, cleans congestion and helps improve immunity. It is also an excellent source of Vitamin C and A. Sesame Seeds Powder Excellent source of copper, manganese, calcium, magnesium, iron and zinc. Desiccated Coconut, It is a good remedial agent. It contains fiber, iron and healthy fat.
Curry Leaves Powder, Fights infection, improves hair and skin and helps in gastrointestinal problems. Fenugreek Powder, Helps in regulating blood sugar and also reduces cholesterol. Jaggery Powder, Helps boost immunity and prevents constipation. It is also rich in iron content which prevents anemia, joint pain and detoxifies the body. Salt, Tamarind Powder. Handles digestion issues, fever, sore throat, rheumatism, inflammation and sunstroke.
COOKING DIRECTIONS:

■ Cook 1 cup chopped pineapple in 2.5cups of water for 15 minutes.

■ Add a sachet of Udupi Kitchen Mangalore Gojju Mix and cook for another 10 minutes.

■ Season with oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves and red chilli.

Optional – Blend some freshly grated coconut (6Tbsp for a sachet) for a creamy gravy.

Variations – Gojju can be made with hog plum, raw mango, karela, fried bhindi, capsicum, green apple, pomegranate and eggplant.
